Introduction

 Idea 2 Launch Program is a high-impact and challenging developmental experience for aspiring women entrepreneurs. It challenges them to understand and capitalize on their most powerful resource: who they are, what they value, and where they want to go.

Over 3 months journey, participants engage in exploration of their own strengths and weaknesses as they start to build their ideas into businesses. The program is designed to stretch them beyond their comfort zones and enhance their confidence by developing their business acumen & strategic thinking to grow their business

The program follows a blended approach of learning based on self-reflection, peer collaboration, action-based, experiential activities and real time application. Face-to-face workshop is followed by one-on-one mentoring, enabling participants to build their confidence and hone their skills to launch & run their business successfully. The experiential program helps them develop the adaptive skills required by business owners to confidently over any challenges faced and grow their business to the highest levels.

The program participants are also provided a unique opportunity to engage and network with other small and medium women owners through the Migrant Women Associations.

The program is targeted to high-achieving women entrepreneurs who want to have more impact and influence on their business with their purposeful choices.

Build strengths and raise the game

Entrepreneur Style Assessment

Program participants undertake the style assessment which provides meaningful insight into their entrepreneur style - personality, characteristics, strengths and challenge areas.  It’s an understanding of the skills required at every stage of the business lifecycle and further define your entrepreneur style. LIFE Entrepreneur Style Assessment measures essential skills of an entrepreneur on 4 styles - Doer, Nurturer, Visionary, Explorer. The personalised report provides strategic self-awareness and assist in building confidence as an entrepreneur. Each report offers detailed information regarding the strengths and challenge areas of each individual and also how to build their skills with their help guides.

Self-Directed Learning Using DIY Template

Throughout the program, self-directed learning using DIY templates, reflective tasks and activities allowing participants to use it anytime and anywhere. The program is designed to allow participants to connect and collaborate to share their ideas and learnings with each other.

Learning doesn’t end in the classroom.

GROUP WORKSHOPS

During the program, participants attend six, half-day face-to-face workshops, interacting with other aspiring women entrepreneurs.  During the workshops participants come together to work collaboratively and build their networks.  Each half-day workshop is designed to deeply immerse participants in the process of business modelling and planning and create valuable insights by collective experiences of the participants.

BUSINESS MENTORING

Through the one-on-one business mentoring, participants take a deep dive into their individual business ideas and establish the foundation for their businesses. Participants attend six sessions with their mentor, in a period of 3 months.

Program Modules

Segmented into seven themes, the Idea 2 Launch Program engages participants in a comprehensive exploration of the business strategy and execution to launch an idea. Participants gain deeper understanding and develop skills to become more adaptive as they move ahead in the entrepreneurial journey.

Workshop Sessions

  1. Intro Session Particpants undertake the assessment and identify their individual behaviour that underpin their authentic entrepreneur style. They further examine their strengths as well as weakness as entrepreneurs. They are introduced to reflective practices that helps to enhance their capabilities by building a mindset required to succeed. 
  2. Idea Generation Participants analyse their ideas and explore ways to develop a sustainable business.They also examine their skills and experience which will support in developing their business. . 
  3. Customer & Competitor They examine “who” are they selling to and also what their competitors are doing. They begin to explore the various segments and how their product/services align to them. Practical strategies and tools are provided to support this exploration phase of building their business.  
  4. Value Proposition Participants are challenged on their current perspective of business, and they question themselves to explore what value are they adding to their customers. "Why will a customer buy from them” is the key question and what value do their bring to them.  
  5. Revenue Streams / Pricing & Costing They are introduced to various framework for revenue streams and  strategies to price their products and services. They identify their costing structure and go on to develop their revenue streams and pricing. 
  6. Marketing This module focus on how to reach your customers. What channels and messages strategies will you use. The participants explore the brand strategy as well as elements to communicate to their customers.  
  7. Company Formation/Taxation They are introduced to the company structures, taxation policies and process to form their companies..
